How Chefiesta’s work with the NHS came about
Chukwudi Ononye, co-founder of the new business, says: “I launched this company just before the Coronavirus outbreak and whilst it could have been a huge threat to our first year of trading, it seems like the perfect time to support those in need of a hot meal, especially the NHS who have been working so hard to keep us all safe.”
Chefiesta provides prepared meals starting from £3.50 each, delivered in eco-friendly, microwavable dishes straight to your door and with a minimum £50 order, it’s perfect for those who struggle to plan out their meals during the week.

How the concept of Chefiesta came about
Chukwudi continues: “The idea came about whilst I was at University and noticed a lot of my fellow students survived on takeaways or unhealthy ready meal options from the supermarkets. Chefiesta wants to bring the most diverse range of ‘homemade’, delicious dishes, freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and delivered directly to those who are in need of a good wholesome meals.”
Following in family footsteps, Chukwudi has catering in his blood with his family having started Eagle Catering over 15 years ago.
During the crisis, the business can deliver as far North as Birmingham and as far South as Kent but will continue to serve nationwide across England, Scotland and Wales when normal service resumes.
