We are proud to be able to announce that Stefanie Nugent owner of the @dailydiaryofmeandmine page will be joining the Chefiesta family!

Being a family run business we are always looking for people that inspire us whilst holding strong family values. As a mother of two, a fitness lover, NHS worker and lifestyle blogger not only is Stefanie a true inspiration but also, her content is great for other mums, families or those interested in keeping up with her life.

We managed to catch up with Stefanie earlier this week for a quick interview. Here’s what she had to say:

1. Tell us a bit about yourself, your journey on social media.

“I started my page off to document our journey through the first lockdown in May last year. I am a single mama of two and due to the restrictions, my support network was restricted, and all childcare taken away so I used Instagram as a channel of focus and distraction.”

2. Why do you do what you do?

“I really enjoy it. It’s as simple as that really. I love to share photos of our daily life and I especially love to share any hints, tips and bargains I pick up along the way!”

3. What has been your biggest struggles getting to where you are now and do you have any advice to other mum influencers starting off on in their journey?

“I wouldn’t class myself as an influencer as such, I just feel I am fortunate to have built a platform of supportive mums and I enjoy being able to use it to support and help businesses as well as share our real and raw journey through parenthood.

The advice I would give would be to just be yourself, post what you enjoy posting and don’t let it consume you. Have fun with it and engage on content you enjoy seeing, in order to receive it back.”

4. What has been your proudest achievement so far on your journey?

“I feel most proud when I receive messages from mums saying thank you. Whether that be for sharing a business that they have purchased from and enjoyed the product or that I have spoken about a subject they relate to and have taken comfort and advice from it.”

5. What has motherhood been like for you?

“Motherhood has been (and still is!) a complete rollercoaster. A mother is all I’ve ever wanted to be and being so fortunate to have two healthy happy children, I cherish every second. It’s hard, it’s stressful, it’s worrying and terrifying, but it is also rewarding and effortless.”

6. What attracted you to Chefiesta?

“The first thing was the choice of dishes. The diverse and mixture of cultures included is very unique, something you don’t find elsewhere. As I started to read into it, I made an instant connection with the work Chefiesta have done within the NHS, providing quick, nutrition to those who need it most.”

7. What was your favourite dish that you tried?

“The Caribbean chicken curry and rice dish was superb! So full of flavour!”

8. What has been your experience using Chefiesta and how did it help you in your day-to-day life?

“For me it’s everything I need it to be. Quick, easy to grab, full of flavour and varied. What more can you ask for!”

A huge welcome to the Chefiesta Family Stefanie Nugent! We look forward to having you on board and hope to support you on your journey!
